Today I took my new Dan Wesson Guardian bob tail commander .45 ACP to the range for the first time. Fired 100rds of Winchester 230 grain FMJ Ammo through it with no malfunctions of any kind. Used both magazines.
The trigger is excellent right out of the box. Recoil is relatively light. Fits my hand very well and is an accurate shooter.
The gun is extremely tight. The barrel bushing needed a bit of persuading to remove. Fit is excellent as is the finish. Very happy with the new purchase.
