Dan Wesson... destine for bling?

walked into my favorite gun store right after the store bought a Dan Wesson from another customer, and now ill be buying it from them.. lol so much for no more guns till June.

anyway,
it stainless, with 6" and a 2" barrels, the finish is a little more beat up then i like but the action is amazing! double and single!

so since the finish is rougher than i like im thinking about refinishing it

so what i want to do is take it into a high polish then jewel polish the budge of the barrel (but leave the flats in high polish), the crane (but not the cyl release), trigger, hammer, and cylinder...

i know it will be really really flashy, but my blued DW is the shooter, and while i would shoot the Stainless it wouldn't be often.

thoughts?

I would finish it how I wanted then shoot the snot out of it.

IMO, I put guns in the motorcycle and women category; ' Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder '. ;)

Bling away and don't forget to post pics when done. Should look great!

I'm with shortwave. It's yours, so do what you like with it and who really cares what others think. Without experimentation, nothing ever changes and where would we be without change? :)
