Custom Colt CCO by Wild West Guns

Well I sent my Old Colt CCO MKIV to Wild West guns back in Feb. Wildalaska is not longer with us but Jim West and the boys are still cranking out excellent custom guns like this one.

This started out as a stock Colt CCO. It look like this:

Well after the Jim West & Wild were done with it it now looks like this...

They installed a few new parts:

C&S tactical sear, hammer and disconnector.
C&S extractor
Ed Brown NM Trigger
ED Brown Ext Safety
Ed Brown Mainspring with 25 LPI Checkering
Trigger Job
Complete Dehorn
Refinish in Wilson Tuff Armor Black

The thing is slick. Serious business... LOL. I could not get out to shoot it tonight but to the range I go tomorrow to put it through its paces. If all goes well over the next few weeks I have a new carry 1911.

Wild is gone... relegated to the land of junior members.

That's really too bad. I thought he was a definitely a net positive for this forum, but then I don't venture outside of the "Hogan's Alley" forums really, so I haven't seen his posts elsewhere.

Well I think it is a loss too but the good news he is still around to help you make a nice custom gun.

On this one they did exactly what I was looking for. I did not need more or less. I can not express how please I am with the outcome.

Maybe not banned from the site as a whole...perhaps just banned or probabtion from certain forums?

WA is one of the reasons I frequent this site.
