Cougar F to G conversion. HELP!

I posted this in the gunsmith section as well but thought someone here may have a suggestion.

I'm trying to do the home conversion of the Stoeger Cougar from an F model to G (decocker only). Step 1 is to drive the firing pin catch spring pin, that holds the firing pin and pin safety, out of the slide.
I cannot get that sucker to budge! It is a roll pin running the width of the slide.
Any help on how to remove that pin?

After a lot of manipulation and more than a few choice expletives, I now have a "G" cougar. The Px4 direction are close, but there are some differences with the cougar not shown in the Px4 example, such as trying to manipulate the trigger bar release plunger .
But I figured it out and couldn't be more pleased. I much prefer a decock only to the manual safety.

P.S. Turns out you don't even need to remove the firing pin catch spring pin. Sheesh....
