i have one..

dont have a 40 or a sig. but it has a stronger recoil that a .45 1911. though not bad. the added weight of the coonan helps a lot to reduce the recoil

i have a blast every time i shoot it. though i wouldnt make it a carry weapon... unless they reopen the Cadet line...

I have been thinking about buying one some time in the next few months.

The one I shot recently was the older model A? (there was no B in the serial number so I am guessing that i was a model a)

It shot pretty well but I was disappointed with the magazines.

the recoil felt lighter than my 357 snubby (s&w 640). I would say about like any 1911 in a 45acp.

I sold many of them in the 80's...they need a synthetic lubricant like mobil 1, syntec or militec to avoid galling. Most reliable were tefllon coated to eliminate reliability issues.

They ran great and reliably with 125 JHP mags or 125 JHP with 38 special conversion kit and magazines.

Nice trigger pull..holsters were tough to find.
