Concealed Carry Permits in Denver Area (Adams County)?

Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you guys from the Denver Metro area (specifically Adams County) could tell me how much of a hassle it was to get a permit? How is the Adams County Sherrif when it comes to such things?

Damn near impossible. Denver is the last anti-gun holdout in an otherwise good state.

Actually, I don't live in Denver or Denver County That's why I said Denver METRO Area. I currently reside in Westminster, which is under the jurisdiction of the Adams County Sheriff. Hope that clarifies things for everyone
