Colt Woodsman serial numbers question.

Does a Match Target with a "MT" prefix mean that it is the "Bullseye" old version only, or did the MT hang around to the underlug model also?

The MT represented "Match Target" and was used on the first version or the Bullseye model. This model ran until civilian guns were discontinued because of the war. When production started back after the war with the 2nd series a "S" was used for a suffix.
