I've got chance at a deal on a polished stainless Government model. The left side of the slide is emblazoned "Silver Star." Serial number sequence is SS004**.
It appears to be 1983-1987, since it has a Series 70 bushing, but a Series 80 safety setup. I'm not concerned with monetary value, but does anyone know when they were made, and how many?
