A co-worker has the opportunity to buy 2 1911 colts from his father-in-law's estate. He needs approximate value, date of manufacture of these pistols. One is a 45 acp, the other a 9mm. I have the serial numbers, but don't want to put them on a public forum. Is there a website or a book where I can get date of manufacture and approximate value?
