COLT PYTHON HUNTER

Finally returned my DE 44 mag.(no accuracy at all). Added some money and bought a Colt Python Hunter. This was a special package which was only manufactured in 1981. The gun is 100% and has an 8 inch barrel. It comes with a leaupold 2X scope that bears both the Colt logo and Leupold name. The whole package with various accessories comes in a Halliburton aluminum case. Also the gun comes with two grips in addition to the ones it is wearing which appear to be a scrimshawed ivory immitation. Anybody have experience with this package? Considering current events, do you think this package will appreciate in value? Thanks, TWOINCHGROUP52.

I saw a similar one in the local gunshop for consignment but it is a Colt "Whitetail hunter" same configuration as you described but not brand new (looks like 99.5%) and is asking for $599. I beleive the "Python Hunter" will be worth more.
