Colt Cowboy

We've discussed them here briefly and they've been discussed widely on some of the "cowboy" boards. So far all of the comments I've heard have been bad. Poor fit, finish, etc..

The only real thing I can tell you for sure is that they use cast frames and have the transfer bar ala Ruger Vaquero. The do, however, retain the traditional Colt loading meathod and the old four click cocking to spell the good Colonels name, C-O-L-T. The only reason for the cast frames is a cost cutting measure to make the price more palatable.

To many of the purist, my self included, they are NOT the Colt Single Action Army that those of us that grew up on came to love. :(

For additional info you may want to go back a few days here and read "Does Colt deserve our business" and "SAA" in the handgun forum.
