Colt Commander Price

Im in the market for a med sized 1911 under $800....i was looking at the Springfield GI Champion...but today i was surfing and i saw the Colt Commander and it said a new one was around $800...my questions is if i go to a gun shop is this price accurate and does anyone have one of these new colts and if so please inform me of how you like it and maybe a pic would be nice!!! thank


oh and im sure everyone will say colt but which gun would you choose?

Beautiful weapon. I just wish we could buy them here in MA. Not being MA compliant makes some fine firearms next to impossible to acquire.
