I've posted photos of my Colt Military Model 1905 .45 ACP pistol serial number 5090 (made 1910) which was shipped to Praeger Hardware Co. San Antonio TX on March 27, 1911 and sold to H. N. Moore Co. (address unavailable) for your enjoyment and comments. Also shown is a box of vintage Winchester .45 Auto ammo which is compatible with this pistol.

Thank you for sharing. Did you get the right picture of the ammo? You are stating .45 but the ammo seems to indicate .38.

Thanks lamarw, yes, posted the .38 ACP instead of the .45 ACP. I'll have to find the .45 ammo photos; .38 ACP should be with the Pocket Model 1903.

Correct photos of Winchester .45 Auto 200-grain ammo which was adapted to the Model 1905 pistol. Box is dated 5-14.

Now that looks more like a .45 round and then some. LOL I always thought it would be great to have orginal ammo to match my old M1911. It looks like you make a practice of doing so with your old collectible pistols. It is just another part of the beauty of collecting. :)
