Here's an upcoming event for new shooters or those who'd like to get together for some basic range/shooting instruction & fun. Should be a good time all 'round.

Ballistic Resources LLC will supervise all shooting. We will be offering three shooting stations, .22 bench rest rifle, 9mm/.38 bench rest pistol and standing pistol. NRA certified instructors will be on hand to offer one-on-one coaching in basic firearm skills and safety techniques.

Firearms, ammo, eye and ear protection will be provided to all participants. You may bring your own “eyes and ears” if available. If you would like to use your own firearm, please bring it unloaded in a protective case.

This event is open to shooters of all ages and levels of shooting experience. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 12 years of age. Prizes will be awarded for best target at each station.

The instruction and shooting will begin at 10:00 AM and at 1:30 PM. Check in begins at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be served from 12:30 to 1:30 during which time the range will be closed.

Dress: Long pants are recommended. Low cut or sleeveless tops are discouraged. No open-toe or high-heel shoes will be permitted.

There will also be demonstrations on hand reloading and the proper care and cleaning of firearms.

Registration is $25.00 per shooter and provides you with instruction and 20 rounds of ammunition for each of the three stations, admission to the range, lunch and five door prize tickets. Additional station tickets may be purchased at the event.

Non Shooting guests may purchase lunch for $5.00.

Family Day at the Shooting Range

Loveland, CO --May 24, 2002 -- The Colorado Chapter of Second Amendment Sisters (SAS) is sponsoring a Family Day at the range. The event will take place on June 15, 2002 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the High Plains Shooting Range, 7 miles east of Ault and south on County Rd. 51, Colorado. Besides the fun of friendly target shooting competition, this day at the range will be a great opportunity for the first time shooter to learn proper safety procedures and operation of one or several different firearms.

This event is open to shooters of all ages and levels of shooting experience. Ballistic Resources LLC will supervise all shooting and offer one-on-one coaching in basic firearm skills and safety techniques. Firearms, ammo, eye and ear protection will be provided to all participants. Come experience shooting a .22 caliber rifle, 9 mm semi-automatic pistol or a .38 caliber revolver.

:)Registration is $10.00 for adults, children 12 and under are free This provides instruction and 20 rounds of ammunition for each of the three stations, admission to the range, lunch and door prize tickets. A barbecue lunch will be provided along with clinics on hand reloading and the proper care and cleaning of firearms.
