I've not purchased anything from Cheaper Than Dirt for a long time. Strangely enough they have really good prices on some things and insanely inflated prices on others.

I know there are other threads talking about CTD, I just had to share this.
I ordered an Ameriglo front night sight for a Glock 36... here's what it arrived in. A rather big box considering it just contains a front sight...

I've yet to see this from brownells, cabellas, midway, or any other gun part seller. Talk about wasting their money on shipping!

Has anybody else ordered gun parts from CTD lately and received them in something 100x larger than needed?

Sorry to post this.. it just made me laugh. I thought I'd won something cool that would be in the box too

Well big boxes are harder to lose in the UPS truck. Sure they could use some tiny box, then if something fell on it. It would be damaged.
I have found CTD to be one of the best mail order, or web order, companies out there.
That is an opinion based on building may street rods and 4x4s with many online and mail order parts.
