Cheap Shotgun Shells On-Line?

With my annual trip to South Dakota (and the prospect of burning up many many boxes of 3 and 3.5" shells) just a few weeks away, I'm focused on finding a less expensive than the local store approach to buying shotgun shells (short of loading my own). Any on-line stores that sell cheap/good shells? Thanks in advance.

Thanks much for your replies. Any opinions on the quality of the "Estate" brand shotgun shells available at ableammo.com? The price is certainly right, and they seem to be very high velocity shells (which is what I prefer).

This is a link to the shells in question:

Thanks again.

Some of the Geezer League use Estate shells for trap, skeet, sporting and light bird hunting. except for reloadibility, they seem superior to the generics like Gun Club, etc.

Some of us tried the Estate R/R "SWAT" 00. It patterns better than any other I've tried, and I've tried lots of them. Others had similar results. Unfortunately, when Federal bought out Estate, the RR 00 was discontinued. I'm saving the 100 rounds or so I've got left in case the Revolution starts w/o me.

HTH....

Gee...I was just going to ask the EXACT same question! Good thing I found this thread first!

Anyhow, what do you all make of the Federal Reduced Recoil Law-Enforcement Rounds?

Good rounds???

Just looking for spare shells to keep around the house...

Is the $37 for 50 a good price?

Thank you

Can't help on the Fed RR stuff, but the standard 00 was one of my old duty loads. Patterned tighter than the Winnie equivalent. Fed does lots of R&D, and most of their ammo is first rate, possibly all.
