Cheap 1911 slides?

I was trying to remember a website that I had found cheap brazilian 1911 slides at, but can't come up with it. I think it was Sarcas or Sercas, but don't remember too well. I know CDNN Investments has them listed, but they are out of stock. Can any of you direct me to the sight I am thinking about? [Yes, I am asking if any of you are telepathic. So, are you? ] Thanks!

I have one of those on the shelf for the next project, whatever that might be. It is straight and square, but the machining is a little rough. But, for $50...

Is the front sight part of the slide, or is it removable?

Foxy, the front sight should be staked in place and not machined as part of the slide.

With a milling machine they're all removeable!

I just found out that the slide on my Sistema has a hairline crack.

Are these slides worth buying, or should I pass this up, save my pennies and get something better later on?
