Charles Daly bolt rifle problem

I tested a Charles Daly 25-06 bolt rifle today. Problem is trapdoor opens when fired. Nay one else have this happen?

That's not unusual with a bolt-action. Make sure the plunger that keeps the floorplate closed is moving, and make sure it's coming out far enough to restrian the floor plate.
