Changing Calibers on a H&R Ultra?

A buddy told me you could change calibers
on these rifle by just changing the barrels. Anyone know if this is true or not? I could have one rifle in 2 or 3 calibers. I would be intrested in this if it's true..

If it is like my New England Arms Handi-Rifle all you have to do is sent it back to the factory and they fit the new barrels to your reciever. They say the barrels are fitted to each gun and are not interchangeable. The barrels are relatively cheap and the turnaround time is quick. I have a 30.06. a .223 and a 3 inch slug barrel for mine. Cheap and accurate.
