Nice shootin. I wonder how that powder would work with 130 grain Noslers. I've assumed that it's a fast powder and not suited to the 270 and 130 grain bullets. Maybe I should look for applicable loading data. Still, it'd have to be pretty special to replace H4831sc on my loading bench.

Hodgdon only has data for CFE-223 in the 270 up to the 110g bullet.
I hunt with the Barnes 110 TTSX BT and practice with the Hornady 110 HPBT.
The Barnes bullets are to damn expensive to do a lot of practicing with.
Also I reload on a Hornady LNL AP, that's why the ball powder.
Also the CFE-223 shoots some fantastic groups in my 223.
