Cerakoting the frame?

Considering having a pro cerakote my P99 frame from black to OD green. (They don't make them like this anymore, and I like the look). How is wear? Any experiences out there? I've seen posts of "hey this is what its like after 2 mos". Would rather see them after 2 years. Thanks.

Edit...didn't read that you said "frame" only.
Don't know what the frame finish is- says they use Tenifer, but only on the slide and barrel.

Had a Ruger Super Black done this spring and after a little over 6,000 of lead it still looks like new . Did it in Gloss Black and I clean the gun with Brake Cleaner . Clean it oil it shoot it love it .

I don't have any personal experience, but everything I've read suggests that it's worth it. As long as it's the kind that is cured in an over, it should hold up incredibly well to normal use... as well as any other high quality gun finish. At least that's my understanding. If that's the look your going for I would not hesitate to go for it.
