Century C39 V2 Advice

Hello Everyone:

I am not very mechanically inclined, and need help on what to get for mounting a Red Dot sight on my Century C39 V2 rifle.

I have looked at the following sites, but can't figure it out. Any thoughts?

I have a V2 and when I get that far I'm going with the Texas Weapon systems dust cover. I think it is the best bet.

The V2 has no side mount option. Thanks for the input. Having a little trouble justifying the $$ required, then having to buy the optic to boot. guess I have to bite the bullet.

There are one or two Youtube videos that show you how to add a side mount to the C39. If I ever have a need for an optic I would probably go that route before spending big bucks on a Texas Weapons System rail, although it does look pretty nice.

If you can find one, get the AK Master Mount. I was going to get one for my C39V2 but I traded it before I could find one.
Sometimes he puts them on ebay.

Have you considered using an Ultimak gas tube mount?

It appears that you have probably decided and are already going a certain direction, but if you are looking a a mount on the dust cover to try for really cheep, try this. It appears to be quality built and S.G. is a good company to work with.
