Hello

Needs some input

I am looking at the CDNN p229 used.

They have Excellent, and Very Good

Does anyone have any inputs on these?

Does very good per CDNN, equate to scratched up rattling slides, with dead NS?

Thanks in advance

CDNN is pretty good on grading but I would downgrade them by 1/2. So an excellent gun is IMHO a VG gun. A VG gun is a Good +... etc.

I would estimate that the P229s they have will show some wear but should be 90% + in terms of finish and 100% in terms of function. Night sights will have some life but not 100%. Gun should not rattle anymore than any other used Sig, some rattle some don't, but should not effect function or accuracy in my experience.

What trigger configuration are they selling? If the price is right go for it.

I have a couple CDNN used "very good" Sigs , a P225 and a P229Dak. Both are in great condition, tight slides, clean bores, mild holster marks on slides. Shooters not collectors but the price was right. Bought them a few years ago so I can't vouch for their current quality standards, but I had good luck with CDNN.

However, neither had night sights. Brightness of sights will depend on age of pistol. Tritium has a half-life about 12yrs.
