What bullet style would be sufficient for 44 mag. tube feed rifle?

I'm looking at the Lee Mold
TL430-240SWC to powder coat. 240 gr. swc Lee mold #90357

I'm assuming the SWC point is blunt enough to load in tube feed rifle, has anyone used this mold for 44 rifle?

I'm feeding a Marlin 336c lever & a Ruger 44 carbine.

Anyone have any experience in casting for these two rifles?

I did to start with but lubed mine. Bullet was undersized for my bore. Powder coating may help with bullet size. You’ll never know until you slug your barrel. I size mine at .432 now with gas checks and white label lube and have no issues. I’m appr 1.5k over bores size. This is with a mold from Accurate.

I have that mold for my revolver. It is blunt enough for tube magazines. Only one way to know if it feeds in your rifle. If I was loading for a lever gun, I would try that bullet first. If it doesn't feed I would be surprised.

If it hangs up on the shoulder on the bullet my next choice would be the round flat. They come in 200 or 310 grain bullet weights. There is a round nose in the middle too, but I would be using it for hunting so I avoid the round nose. If your only shooting paper the round nose would be a good choice.
