Can't You Smell That Smell?

I recently picked up several boxes of Aguila rimfire ammo. They do have quite a variety. I decided to run several of them through some of my rimfires. They functioned flawlessly and were accurate to boot. But I have one complaint, the smell.

I enjoy the odor of rimfire ammo. But this stuff had a smell that I can't describe. There's no sulfur-like odor at all. Does anyone here know what they use for propellant? I am half tempted to pull the bullet off a round just to examine the powder or even put a match to it. Does anyone know weather it is harmful to barrels? I know that rimfires don't need to be cleaned after every shooting. With this stuff, I decided to clean all the guns completely. It didn't seem to make the guns any dirtier then other rimfire ammo.

I really got a kick out of their Colibri ammo. Out of my revolver it was less loud then a pellet gun. Out of a rifle, it was nearly silent.
