I'm going sorting through my old casings to sell and I heard that you can't reload military cases. I don't know if it meant berdan primed only, but I don't even know what type of primer the M118LR uses. It looks like boxer on the bottom, and looking down inside it looks to have a normal single flash hole (i don't know what you call it) down in the center.

Yes, you can reload m118lr brass, as well as any other domestically produced milsurp brass.

Be aware that military cases like M118 are heavier the most commercial ones. That means that the max load could be as much as 2 grains lower because of the reduced capacity. Also M118 primers may not be crimped in. The cases stamped 'LR' and those stamped 'MATCH' are not crimped in. M118 'Special Ball' does have crimped in primers and need to be swaged or reamed when reloading.
