Can I get a bungee attachment for my sling?

Last year I bought a two point sliing for my AR-10. Works great, but after three days of carrying it, my shoulders really feel the weight. I see that many slings have bungee-type ends to cushion the bounce of the weapon.

Without buying a new sling, can I buy bungee attachments to connect to my sling and make it more comfy? If so, where?

Do you use the sling for stability, while shooting? If you do, then don't replace your sling.

I can't think of any place that sells bungee spacers for slings but it wouldn't be too hard to get some shock cord and make a DIY solution.

How about a velcro pad attachment to distribute the weight over a broader area? Honestly, if a rifle is heavy, you're going to feel it.
