I'm wondering if this is possbile, if anyone has tried it, and how it may have worked out?

thanks.

i seem to remember that the RCBS dies are expensive--you could buy a Mec Single stage used for about the same money.....Dick

PS--with the Mec single stage you can load a box of 12ga in about 9-10 min===no way the RCBS will do that.....

Yes, but it would probablly be more economical to buy a MEC.
Remove the HELICORE that holds your regular dies and screw the inch and one-half dies in one at a time. RCBS makes the die set but are expensive.

IMO, look for a good used MEC in your local emporium. Should
run about $50-60. Not worth the hassel to swap dies. I found a
old used Pacific for $30. Serves all my shotgun needs.

I 2nd the Lee Load ALL

For under 30 dollars on sale and another 10 dollars for the primer feeder. My buddy has over 1500 rounds loaded on his since February. He says it works well with Hogdgons Tite Wad powder.
