California magazine question.

would modifying a 30 or 20 round magazine so that it only held 10 rounds make it legal? sort of like plugging a shotgun tube with a dowel, but blocking the floor plate with something so it cant accept more rounds. would you need to make it permanent?

ha, hey legume.. saw that argument on pbn.. that guys a douche. just a mall-ninja. i'm pretty sure that its legal. either that or you can chop your 30 round mag to fit lesser quantities. i've seen a guide to do so, dont remember where though.

It's only legal if the modification is permanent, i.e. welded or otherwise not reversible.
