Cabelas has a Remington package called the Super Slug wih Scope for$249. It is a Remington fully rifled 23" cantilever barrel with rings and scope for $249. The Model 870 Super Slug with Scope is 23" long with a 3" chamber capable of handling 2-3/4" or 3" sabot slugs. Mounted and bore sighted 2x7 32mm scope. Fits 870 Wingmaster, Special Purpose and Express models.
Does anyone have any experience with this combo? (I am sure the scope is made in China.) My little bro is in a pinch, and this is a lot cheaper of an option than setting up his Encore with a rifled shotgun barrel.
