Although I might not spend the cash for either category, it could be a difficult choice.
A second Garand, only from the CMP, is a long-term goal.
There could be a very strong temptation waiting in a rack in Clarkesville, or at Whittaker's, southeast of Evansville in KY.
The main question is whether ammo might be the best choice.
Nobody knows when a noticeable price increase for Prvi .303 or Russian-made 7.62x39 will be seen.
I won't consider corrosive x39 (Yugo) in semi-autos, and already have 1,000 rds. of 30-06 M2 Ball for the Garand.
