I don't know why it didn't occur to me before, but I finally saw a picture of a Colt 4x20 AR scope with butler creek flip up caps and it looked pretty good. Or at least its a better setup than the scope caps supplied with the scope.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has done this? If so, can you tell me what size eyepiece and objective caps that you purchased?
Or, I don't have the scope with me right now so I can't measure the O.D. of the tube body. Can someone measure theirs with a caliper and post the size? I think the eye and objective are the same size, but can you check to be sure. Please no measurements of the knockoff copies of the scope. It has to be a Colt (C-More) otherwise, I might order the wrong size.
