Hoggin' has been a little slow for me around here lately, but this morning the pigs took pity on me and came visiting. I had 14 of the little critters to process...

What Wyosmith said. Blessed are the Jews and the Muslims, for they leave more bacon for the rest of us. Then there's pork chops and hams too and ham sammiches. Yummmm.

Those all ran in the 40-50 lb range, so I just took off the hind legs on them. Got them all bagged up in a freezer, and they will get passed out at the next muzzleloading shoot in April. The guys there seem to make good use of hog legs, so that's one of my favorite places to dispose of them.
