Busnell XLT 1.5-6 Illuminated 4A -- Need Opinions?

It looks like a decent scope, especially for the AR-15 you mentioned. I have a 1.5-5x32 on one AR and 2-7 scopes on the rest. This scope would split the difference nicely...plus it has an illuminated recticle and a 30mm tube.

One of the nicest scopes for the money for .22lr rifles is the Mueller 4.5x14 APV (or APT) w/ AO. I have two APV's on my .22 and they are spectacularly clear for ~$125.

illuminated reticals arent the greatest invention. I have a couple of them for night time hog hunting and if there is enough light to see through the scope you can most always see the non illuminated retical on a decent scope. when illuminated the crosshairs arent as fine as in non illuminated mode.
