Bushnell TRS-25 question

Price on these is reasonable. I was wondering if it would hold up to a 12 gauge. I'd appreciate feedback from current owners.

Got it and it fits very well on my NEF. Rides low enough where I can still get a decent cheek weld on the stock. I'll see how it handles the 1oz slug!

Took me long enough but I finally got around to mounting it on my shotgun. Very pleased with it. The dot is easy to see in bright sunlight and the mount is low enough that I can hold my cheek weld. The sight itself is tiny and out of the way and does not get in the way of my lock mount. I've shot twenty plus rounds of Winchester 1oz slugs and a bunch of federal and winchester RR slugs. No problems. When I mounted it I did not torque down or locktight or anything else because of a paint job I'm about to do. The sight held tight and didn't loosen or move at all.

I got one on my Daniel Defense with magpul mbus sights and it is awesome for the money. The tall riser from Utg is what I used and it allows you to cowitness it perfectly.Shotgun probably wouldnt need a riser depending on your sights I guess

A friend of mine recently got one and after examining it put it back in the box and sent it back. If you sat it on a table or bench and "aimed" it at an object twenty five yards or so away, moving your head around showed that it had about three inches of parralax at that distance. I saw it and can confirm this. I took my new Burris FF3 and did the same thing and it had no parralax at that distance. It looks nice and I'm sure Bushnell will back up any warranty issues with it but it's not parralax free as some people think.

No parralax here either. If you set it on a bench and move your head around the dot will move but bore axis and sight stay the same.once you sight in the optic it does not matter if the dot is in the center of the tube or not.Where the dot is is where the round goes. Both eyes open helps.
