Burris Fastfire III on a slide?

The manual states this little guy can withstand 1000+ Gs. I like it on my AR but I'm curious if any TFLers have used one long-term mounted on a pistol slide.

I bought the Buris mount for my Glock 20 but I have not yet tried it out.

Have only seen it on videos but have read many good reviews about that setup.

I have the Trijicon RMR (FN Tactical) and the J-Point mounted on pistols. I was torn between the Burris and the J-Point for a S&W M&P C.O.R.E.. I finally decided on the J-Point due to size and weight (it's the smallest available I believe). Both are remarkable in how much they transform the usefulness of a handgun. They are the solution for aging eyes.

I will. As the G20 is too large as a carry pistol it won't matter much if it is setup with a red dot.

I've had a similar C-More STS mounted on my XDm 9mm for about 8 months. Not sure hom many rounds I've fired, but it's close to 1000. I carry the gun every day. No problems at all.
