Bullseye powder for 9mm??

Does anyone use Bullseye for 9mm? I got a bunch of it for the .38 but its gonna take me years to use it all. I was wondering how it works for 9mm or if its N/G for them. Im currently using Unique but running low and thats why im wondering about it.

I have used Bullseye in 9mm with no problem.

I burn Bullseye up in 9mm. I use 4.6gr to push 115gr FMJ and I can't complain. I got a bunch of Bullseye (8lbs) when a friend of mine got out of reloading.

I use 5 gr. recommended by Lee's manual. It so happens they make a dipper that just dips 5 gr, so a scale and powder measure are optional.

I use Bullseye with 135 grain cast bullets. I don't remember the load data, but I load them kind of hot (can go faster using Unique, but it doesn't measure as nice)

Below is my data. I like Bullseye in semi auto mechanisms. It is my opinion that you want a powder that gives a fast hard kick to the mechanism. I believe it is easier on the gun, and provides consistant function.

I was only looking for an accurate load that just functioned the mechanism. I have no doubt that the charge could be safely increased.

I believe I load 'handgun only'; I like choices

'Slower' powder choices work best in my autoloaders, except at extremely low velocities.
Even then, I most often use something 'slower' than Bullseye (which is used mostly for target 38 Special).

I currently still load for 9x19, 9x21, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 40 S&W, 400 CorBon, 10mm, 41 AE, 44 Magnum, and 45 ACP.
(In the past I have also loaded for 38 Super, 357 Maximum, 41 Magnum, 44 Special, 45 Colt, and 475 Wildey. And maybe some others...).
I shoot mostly 9x19.

I currently still use AA2, AA2 Imp, AA5, AA9, Bullseye, Nitro 100, 700X, W231, WSL, Unique, Universal Clays, Power Pistol, HS6, WAP (man I gotta lotta WAP --my first choice for 9x19), 3N37, 800X, Longshot, N350, HS7, Blue Dot, AA9, 2400, N110, H110, and W296.

Using Winchester brass, I found that 4.9 grains of Bullseye was too much when pushing either 125 gr LRN or 124 gr FMJ bullets out of my Taurus PT-99AF. Function was fine, accuracy was acceptable, recoil was no issue of course, but much of the brass was getting ever so slightly bulged near the case head.

At the time, the 4.9 grain charge was straight from Alliant's website, but I haven't gotten any data from their website in at least a month as they continue to say they are making changes and it's unavailable.

I lowered the charge to 4.6 grains of Bullseye with both bullets in a myraid of different cases and with CCI 500 small pistol primers and it works well for me.
