Just got ready to load some 185gr HP for my 45acp shooting. I normally use 200gr, SWC and HP from a few different suppliers.
I was reading my 45acp loading guide, and none of the bullet suppliers were listed, although 185gr HP and Win 231 power combination was.
I then went to Hornaday's 50th anniversary, and it had a few listings, also none of my bullets. The differences in fps were amazing between the two books! Also, my powder load for 200gr HP is 4.6gr of 231. The two texts all start at 5gr more, and the
bullet speeds don't make sense. Is there a good source for Berry's hollow points, or Extreme, both of which are plated, not jacketed?
