Bought a used Kahr P45

Here it is compared to my HK 45C I'm wearing today.
Even though they look very similar in size the Kahr feels tiny in my hands compared to the HK.
I'm thinking this Kahr may become a favored CCW piece.

Nice. Just be sure it's reliable...put more than a box of JHP through it before you start carrying.

Nice gun! No offense intended but you're better off with the HK45C. There's a reason it's going to be the next military contract sidearm. Oops, did I say that outloud?

Yeah, the HK would be fine IF you wanted a combat military sidearm. You can't beat Kahr pistols for a CCW. I had a CW45 and it was perfect. Break her in with 200rds and keep it well lubed Kahrs like to run wet.

As much as I like my Kahr it won't be replacing my HK45C anytime soon.

i like my Kahr a bunch,I do hate however the mag floor plates
and wish they were flat but other tthan that Kahr has ben good to me

If the gun is used and a potential CCW, then I suggest you go ahead and get a replacement recoil spring, (they're only about $8).

I found that a grip sleeve, with finger bump, help improve the grip.

Is the Kahr PM45 small enough to pocket carry like the PM9 is? I have a PM9 and pocket carry it all the time, that's why I bough it.

The P45 is 6+1 capacity with a 3.5" bbl.
The PM45 is 5+1 capacity with a 3" bbl.
