Bought a new 629 Mountain Gun

I bought a new 629 Mountain gun today. This is my first .44 (although I have shot them on occasion). I am well pleased. I hope to smooth up the action a little before I hit the range, which may not be until after Christmas. Oh well. I'm happy with the purchase, even if it is a post agreement one.

Any ideas on holsters and loads?

Well, I'm glad you're happy........now sell it to me so I don't have to buy a NEW one........(kinda tongue-in-cheek and kinda not)

Holster for what use?

Ammo; data for roll-your-own, or store-bought?
(I gotta couple'a awesome 44 MG loads.)

RECOMMENDATION

44 Special CCI Blazer.

Special needs, though, we got some other ideas (actual product)..........

Sorry, in my euphoria I was less than specific.

This will be mainly used as a trail rider, as in ATV riding, scouting for game, etc. A good nylon holster would probably suit me fine.

As far as loads go, I'd like to stick with magnums for carry, and do not load my own (yet).

Thanks.

Safariland, Uncle Mikes, BladeTech, not sure for MG.

Ammo? Easy, start at bottom of (quality) price scale and work UP until desired performance level is reached.
