boresnake keeper?

I washed out some small (8-oz) sized plastic wine bottles with screw-on caps. Poke the snake into the bottle, tail first. Keeps it clean and ready to use.

Also fun making sure I have a sufficient supply of boresnake containers! :D

I use old plastic medicine (pill) bottles. In my range box I have small, medium and large bottles for .22, .38 and .45 boresnakes.

i generaly clean my guns at the range, so keeping the packages for 7 bore snakes would be alot of wasted bulk.

ive tried the wrapping thing before, but it never lasts.

Mine all hang on hooks on the pegboard in my shop. If on the off chance I decide to toss one in the range bag for field expedient cleaning then I just coil it up and wrap the cord around the mop portion and toss it in the bag/box.

+2 on the ziplock baggies. Put a piece of blue painters tape on the bag and use a marker to note the caliber. Works great.
