Best Birthday present yet!

What can I say? The Wife sure knows how to find the nice ones!:D
For my birthday present She got me a S&W 29-2, 4", nickle.
She said the man She got it from said it had either not been fired or fired very little.
From the serial # of N629xxx I think it was made in 1979, if I am reading the SCSW right.
It appears to not have the correct grips on it, they are pretty but I don't really care for them. I took them off and they say Italy on the inside. Anyone know what grips these are?

So what do you guys think?

I think that your wife is totally cool. Say hi to her for me:D Those are interesting grips, btw. They don't look like Smith factory grips. Any idea who made them?

nope I was asking about them in the OP

they may be made by a company called "Sile"
