Besides Colt, who makes a lightweight cmdr .38 Super?

Like the title says, I can't, for the life of me, find another producer of a product lightweight commander .38 Super aside from Colt's XSE line.

Any help from a 1911 guru?

Regards and Semper Fi!

Kimber has made some limited runs,STI makes a 2011 commander that's about as light as a aluminum frame gun, but It's very pricey.other than that your gonna have to go custom or convert a 9mm (pretty do-able with just a Bbl and mag)
Just wondering why not just go with a Colt. I love mine. I did change the beaver tail (don't like Colt's duck tail:barf:) It has been 100% and is very accurate.other mods include sending the Sights to PT nightsights for tritium inserts and a set of chain-mail Crimson traces. Now if I can just get my order of 124 gold-dots from Georgia arms:confused::confused::confused:

Not one for a Double Wide the likes of an STI (as I'd like to carry it. Sry I didn't mention that in the OP).

Maromero: SW's site doesn't show a .38 Super in a lightweight commander format....what are you getting at there? A special run?
