Bass Pro ammo deal

If you have a Bass Pro Shops near you, they are advertising 9mm Win. white box, 100 rounds, FMJ, for $9.98 a box. That's new Win. ammo at surplus price. Not too bad.

Good price, but not worth the 2.5hr drive to the nearest one. I'd lose the savings (over Wal-Mart's 11.xx for WWB 100) in gas.

yup. closest one to me is well north. i've gone up there a couple times after work... should be a 40 minute drive, takes 3 hours. i should get my architect up there for inspiration though, that's kind of the vibe i want my next house to have though

the one thing i don't get about that place is you'd think being such a high-volume dealer they could get some better prices on their guns. pretty much straight retail, despite having economics of scale on their side.
