Barrett M107 A1, plus extras: where to buy?

I want to get an M107A1 w/ BORS, suppressor, and scope.
It seems like there is virtually NO discounts available off of list price, but a fair number of teasers on Backpage, and gun sales / auction sites. (still the total is ~$18k)
Any suggestions on any dealer that may be willing to offer something as a deal sweetener? Ammo? Discount? Accessories?
Thanks.

I can understand wanting to shop around for a good price, but what makes you think you should be entitled to a "deal" on ammo ect?

Probably the fact its 18k and sells for essentially list price. I dont see why a dealer couldn't sell some ammo at cost for someone willing to drop $18k at their shop. I would.

Shops don't profit much from NEW gun sales, no matter the price tag, specially with the internet. Generally the profit margin on a new firearm is 15-20%, no matter if its a $600 Remington or a 18K Barrett. That is why they are generally special order only items with non refundable deposits ect.

I'm aware, but a good customer a few things at cost or discounted doesn't cost the dealer anything directly and can help make a sale. 10% on 18,000 is a lot more than on $600, as you are well aware. If paid in advance, there is no risk.

Sounds like a good situation to me.

Thanks 5.56
You nailed it, I'd happily pay *Cash in Advance* with the paperwork for the suppressor so there is no risk to the dealer.

Good luck finding a dealer to make your dream come true I suppose, I know where I work on something like that it's pay in full to order it, and the owners wouldn't go discounting ammo. Yes the percentage on a $18,000 rifle is in fact more but generally the loops to get one require more time and effort. At the end if the day we honestly make more money on selling 25-30 cheaper guns than one large custom purpose.

I am not trying to be spiteful but I am just saying I don't think a dealer will be jumping at the chance to get you what you want AND give you something for nothing on a special order item you are requesting.

Now if you can find a dealer who stocked what you are looking for, that is a whole other story, and would most likely jump at the chance to be rid of it.

Thanks HK, understand your feedback, and appreciate it.
May have found a store who may be willing.

Thanks
