Barnes XLC Bullets

I have been using Barnes X-Bullets in my .338 Win Mag, with very good success, I received a brochere from Barns today and they are all hipped up about their new XLC bullets, saying you can expect an increase in velocity as much as 200 fps, with pressures reduced by more than 11% and reduce cleaning time by 37% and better accuracy. Has anybody here at TFL had any experience with these bullets?

Hello. They work very, very well in some rifles, but not in the one I last tried them in. It was a 6mm Remington 700 Varminter. Couldn't get them to group and despite their coating, I got hideous fouling; looked like someone smeared a pumpkin in my bore! Others have had good luck and I know one guy who swears by the XLC in several calibers. Best.
