As I age, my USPSA classification scores continue to decline.
I still go.
I get better, but slower and blinder and cripplier, and the bar around me continues to rise.

I only post this because, once again, I'm headed out for a 300-mile round trip to another state to shoot my zillionth USPSA match.

Backward or forward, I'm still addicted.

To those who've not yet gone,. GO. Go NOW. It's really quite fun.

Joe Haller says "all that shoot are WINNERS. Those that stay home are not winners."

Just go to beat yourself. There are some shooters that we will never beat-regardless of what/where we are shooting.

I feel your pain. I have taken on the attitude of the give a poop meter is on zero and the fun meter is pegged on 100. I shoot as best I can with regards to speed and accuracy. My number 1 goal is to finish every match not wanting to hear stop, unload, show clear, you are DQ'd, have a nice day. At this point scores are immaterial.
