Saw one of these today 1911 type semi auto. Never heard of the brand. Anybody know anything about them? It actually looked pretty nice.

I have had one in 10mm for about 12 years and it is a dependable shooter.
The finish is not great and it's monetary value not high, but it works.:D

The old Numrich guns made in West Hurley, NY was spotty when it came to quality control. It's these guns that's garnered most of the bad reputation. From my experience, they were one step above AMT and that doesn't say much (although some had no problems with them).

Kahr Arms in Worcestor, MA bought the Auto Ordnance/Thompson brand a few years ago and began building guns using the same name. These are MUCH better. The newer models released in the last year or so are even better than the earlier ones. I picked up one myself this year and was pleasantly surprised with it (I'm a Colt man).

Here's the range report I wrote up over at the 1911 forum.
