Attack of the pistol clones

I was thinking about alot of the "finer" pistols on the market(sig walther glock beretta etc). I started to wonder if there are copys or clones of these pistols that are actually better then the orginal.

I've heard from some, though I'm not sure I agree with this opinion,....that the Bersa Thunder .380 is a copy of a Walther without all the Walther quirks. A kindler, gentler, much improved Walther if you will, but a copy none the less.

Chinese NORINCO corporation makes and sells tons of clones and copies, to name just few:
M1911 clones (lots of) (example)
SIG P226 and P228 clones
CZ-75 and CZ-85 clones
Browning High Power clones
Walther PPK clones

30 years of product improvements that the Taurus is lacking.

Of course if you absolutely must have cocked and locked, you can get a Steel I and you'll also get a steel frame and a brigadier style slide.
