Armscor....40?

I just recently saw a Armscor doublestack 1911 in .40 S&W. I had never heard of these, even a hint.

My Armscor 1911 manual included 9MM, .30 Super and .40, but figured that it was sorta like the backwards marked Chinese scopes, it was just wrong.

Are they just starting to be imported? Used to be but halted?

If they are making a .40 S&W 1911, I am surprised they haven't been importing it.

And finally: Will they take Para-Ordnance P-16 Magazines?

All the double-stack RIA/Armscor guns take Para mags so I would assume it probably uses the 40 S&W version of the Para mags.

Just odd, I've never seen a .40 Armscor. Wonder what they're like....
